AARP Triangle Honors Vietnam Veterans

Event Description

AARP values the freedom and rights secured by Veterans, the military and their families. Your service and sacrifices will never be forgotten.

As a way to thank and honor those who served,  AARP Triangle is hosting a free reception event on Tuesday, March 13 at the North Carolina Museum History.  The reception will be hosted in conjunction with the Museum’s Picturing Nam exhibit, a free pictorial exhibit marking the 50th anniversary of the Tet Offensive, a series of simultaneous attacks that began Jan. 30, 1968, and led to the most sustained fighting in the Vietnam War.

The reception will include a formal presentation, food and drinks, and a private viewing of the Picturing Nam exhibit.

RSVP is required.  Please visit the website for more information.
