VA Benefit Briefing & Artistic Reading

Event Description

Director of the Winston-Salem VA Regional Benefits Office, Mark Bilosz will provide the welcome and opening remarks. A VA benefit representative will present VA benefit information that is relevant to Vietnam Veterans, their survivors and family members followed by a Q&A session. VA representatives will also be available to assist Veterans with questions about VA benefits. Veteran Health Administration Vet Center Mobile Unit representatives will be onsite to provide counseling and information about VA mental health services.

The afternoon will end with a staged artistic reading of “Run No More”. By Harold Ellis Clark and Directed by Eric J. Little. Lance, a black American soldier, and Tuyen, a Vietnamese woman, are trapped behind enemy lines in a thatch and corrugated roof farmhouse midway between Saigon and Tay Ninh, Vietnam. While there, Lance and Tuyen struggle to form a bond which could possibly help both of them remain alive.
