Hi I’m North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory, and I want to wish the United States Army a happy birthday.

For the last 241 years, the Army has made our state and nation proud, and kept us safe.

We are grateful for the many generations of North Carolinians that have served in the Army.

And from Fort Bragg, to our Army National Guard, we are proud of all of North Carolina’s ties to the Army and vow to always support its goals and also support the veterans in our state.

So on behalf of the citizens of North Carolina, thank you to all who have served in our armed forces and happy 241st birthday to the United States Army.
