CHAPEL HILL—The University of North Carolina men's and women's lacrosse programs announced this week that they will host Military Appreciation and First Responders/Frontline Workers Games later this season for home games at Dorrance Field.
Military and first responder personnel can gain free entrance to watch the nationally-ranked men's and women's programs by showing their identification at the entrance of Dorrance Field.
Dates for the games are as follows:
Saturday March 5, Noon • Men's Lacrosse vs. Denver (Military Appreciation Day)
Sunday March 6, Noon • Women's Lacrosse vs. Northwestern (Military Appreciation Day)
Friday March 11, 5 p.m. • Women's Lacrosse vs. Mercer (First Responders/Frontline Workers Day)
Saturday April 16, 4 p.m. • Men's Lacrosse vs. Syracuse (First Responders/Frontline Workers Day)
All military members can get up to four free tickets for the Denver men's lacrosse game and Northwestern women’s lacrosse game with military their ID. When you arrive at the stadium, show your ID at the ticket booth and tell them you're a military member and they will give you your tickets.
