Come out and join riders on next Tuesday, October 12 for Cycling Heals – Vets Connect outing at Salem Lake Park - 815 Salem Lake Road, Winston Salem, NC.
Averaging forty folks each month; the event is hosted rain or shine. Don’t have a bike – no problem – loaner bikes and helmets available.
COVID measures: the majority of the function will be hosted outside of the building and all are encouraged to social distance, hand sanitize, etc. FYI: and, if you don’t ride a bike – no problem. There is a group of participants that walk the beautiful Salem Lake Trail instead. So, ride a mile, a few miles or seven miles around the lake or again, walk with the group and make some new friends. Bring your day-old bread and feed the ducks too. Great fellowship; come join us! Note: We could use three to four 7:30ish AM volunteers to assist with the set-up.
If you are not located in the Triad, please share with your friends and families in the Winston-Salem / Triad area.
Bike donations are welcomed! All of the bikes will be reworked and given to a wounded warrior / DVet to enjoy back in their respective communities. Keep the bikes coming!
