Transition Services

Transition Services Division within NC DMVA is the bridge between Military and Veterans Affairs. This division provides active outreach, assistance, support, connection, and resource integration between federal, state, local, private, and non-profit partner agencies in the areas of employment and education, homelessness and suicide prevention, women veterans, military sexual trauma, diversity, and additional transition services related to military spouses and caregivers. It provides wraparound services to transitioning service members and veterans through the various life changes encountered. This Division’s work holistically encompasses the lifecycle of our active-duty service members to veteran citizens.
