Corey Slife

Corey Slife serves as the Legislative Director for the North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, where she works to advance legislation and policies that support service members, veterans, and their families across the state. As the spouse of a West Point graduate and Army Officer, she brings both professional experience and personal understanding to her role.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Clemson University and went on to complete a Master of Public Administration at North Carolina State University. Over the past five years she has gained experience in the legislative space, holding roles at the North Carolina General Assembly and the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction before joining the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs in January.
