David Nagy

Administration and Logistics Director

David Nagy serves as Director of Administration and Logistics for the North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, joining in October 2021 after 30 years of active duty in the United States Navy.

David manages the agency’s supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution. He formulates logistics plans, partners with internal teams and external organizations, ensures regulatory compliance, and identifies opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.

A combat veteran of Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom, David holds a Bachelor of Science from Duquesne University. He resides in Willow Spring, NC, and enjoys camping, fishing, archery, and other outdoor activities.
