Very brief Description: More than 2,000 participants gather to honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Special Achievement Award Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Representative Deputy Chief Voorhees will serve as Grand Marshal of the parade. The event showcases local middle and high school bands, the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) program units, Boy and Girl Scout troops, active military units, antique cars, veteran organizations, corporate veteran employees and more! we are looking for attendees and participants.

The Carolina Panthers and Gatorade have partnered to provide two free middle school football camps for 300 students at the Panthers PrimeSport practice fields. Each camp will consist of 150 participants, a morning session for beginners and an afternoon session for experienced players. On hand to coach them will be some of the best high school football head coaches in the region and some special guest coaches as well.
