Help is available for our Military and Veteran Communities.
We recognize that operations in the Middle East may bring up emotions, memories, or worries for North Carolina’s veterans, service members, and military families.
If you're feeling the impact, please take a moment to check in with yourself and reach out if you need support.
Here are available resources:
- Veterans Crisis Line: The Veterans Crisis Line is a 24/7, confidential crisis support line for Veterans and their loved ones.
- Dial 988 (Press 1)
- NC Vet Centers: Free, confidential support for veterans, service members (including National Guard and Reserves), and military families.
- Military OneSource: Military OneSource counselors are available for free, short-term, solution-focused, confidential counseling services for a wide range of issues.
- NCNG Integrated Behavioral Health System: NCNG are dedicated to helping NCNG Service members and their Families by assessing for immediate behavioral health needs and offering therapeutic support, connection and case management services to internal referrals as well as federal, state, and community (external) referrals for both clinical and non-clinical needs.
- Cohen Veterans Network: Cohen Veterans Network, a national not-for-profit integrated network of mental health clinics, is committed to helping veterans and military families by reducing barriers to care.
