Join us for the 2025 Veteran Stand Down in Greenville, NC. This annual event brings together veterans, individuals, and community members who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless with service providers offering vital resources.
Attendees will receive free food, haircuts, cold weather gear, clothing, and employment and community resources. Veterans Benefits Officers will also be on site to assist with VA claims (bring a copy of your DD-214 if available)
In the weeks leading up to the event donations of clean clothing, new socks and underwear, blankets, sleeping bags, coats, hats, gloves, and easy-to-transport food items are encouraged.
Donation drop-off runs from September 1–25, 2025.
Hosted by the Pitt County Veteran’s Council, American Legion Post 39, and the NC Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.
