What is a Veteran Benefit Live (VBL)?
A VBL is your chance to sit down one-on-one with staff from the Winston-Salem VA Regional Office and the Salisbury VA Health Care System and get connected to your earned benefits.
What to expect:
- VA disability compensation and pension claims filing and assistance for Veteran and survivor benefits.
- Mobile Vet Center and VA mental health counseling.
- VA health care enrollment.
- Toxic exposure screenings.
- Veteran Readiness and Employment benefits.
- Additional goods and services will be available for Veterans who are experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness.
- Housing assistance, social and vocational support services, and barber services.
- On-site compensation and pension (C&P) exams in select scenarios. While not all claims can be accommodated, we aim to provide this service wherever possible.
- When you pre-register, you're reserving a general admission spot for the day, not a specific appointment time. Veterans will be seen on a first come, first served basis.
