An upcoming Veterans Benefits Live event taking place August 20–21, 2026, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte. This two-day event offers Veterans and their families the chance to connect one-on-one with staff from the Winston-Salem Regional Office and the Salisbury VA Health Care System.
Veterans will have access to:
• Assistance with VA disability compensation and pension claims
• Mobile Vet Center mental health counseling
• Information on VA employment, education, home loan, and life insurance benefits
• Homeless, low-income housing, social, and vocational support services
• Community partner resources and vendors
• Free refreshments for all Veterans
• Potential on-site C&P exams for select claims
Pre‑registration provides general admission, and Veterans will be seen on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
